Southgate sports and leisure trust is a registered charity that maintain the vital community resource in snakes lane. The pitches are extremely costly to maintain but provide the community, (young and old) with essential recreation facilities. 

Sport provides an escape from the pressures of everyday life and helps to maintain both physical and mental wellbeing. Across the country clubs are stuggling, these places can only exist with the generosity of members and the community. Which is why I am running a stupid amount over the next 17weeks to raise money for a cause that is very close to my heart. Southgate has provided me with A LOT of stress relief since I joined, not to mention allowed me to learn a new sport, find inspiration in those around me, play in top level competitions and meet lifelong friends along the way.
