We fund medical research into chronic pain to relieve chronic and cancer pain

Story

On 10th August, I will be abseiling down Liverpool Cathedral for The Pain Relief Foundation. That's right..... me, who has anxiety, occasional panic and is scared of most things!

So, why on earth am I doing it?

The Pain Relief Foundation is a UK charity based in Liverpool. They fund research into the causes and treatment of chronic pain. They rely entirely on charitable donations and fundraising.

Chronic pain is defined as pain that lasts for more than 3 months. As well as physical impact, chronic pain can cause a number of problems affecting a person's well-being. These can include reduced activity, fear of further damage, worry, loss of confidence, isolation, relationship difficulties and much more.

The Pain Relief Foundation is helping people make positive changes to their lives to enable them to live their lives to the full, in spite of chronic pain.

It's for this reason that I'm chucking myself over the side of Liverpool Cathedral, a.k.a abseiling.

Any support that you can give me will be hugely appreciated.
