In 2013 Caroline was diagnosed with breast cancer. She underwent months of difficult treatment. Throughout this time Caroline remained her usual kind, caring, & wonderful self.

Sadly in Oct 2014 the cancer returned and Caroline passed away on 29th Nov.  In the final few weeks of her life, Caroline stayed at the Springhill Hospice in Rochdale.

The magnificent team there ensured that Caroline was treated with the utmost care, compassion and dignity. Their kindness and support helped Caroline and her family enormously. Any donations to this wonderful organisation are much appreciated.
