Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In April i will be taking on the biggest challenge of a lifetime and travelling to Nepal to complete the Everest base camp trek in Aid of The Knights Foundation, a charity close to my heart that look after many families and children who are disabled, terminally ill or living in extreme poverty. All of the money raised will be donated to the charity.

The trek will cover a distance of 130km, reaching altitudes of 5,380m and no creature comforts in sight! This will be both a physical and mental challenge for which I have been not been training for so everyone wish me luck! (I think i will need it) ;)

Taking on this challenge has been a goal of mine for some time and I feel very lucky to be in a position to take this on. I will be completing the trek with a great group of people who also share the same passion into the foundation that I do.

The Knights Foundation has recently opened up a lodge in Shorefield, that has been fully adaptable for many disabilities, so by completing this challenge it will also enable families to have some much needed respite to stay in the lodge free of charge. As a father myself I value quality time with my family so by completing base camp everest, and the money i raise will enable families the chance to build and create memories that they will treasure forever.

I will keep you all updated of my progress :)
