Story

Hi everyone,

So pretty much I'm running two half marathons one week apart which are The Scottish half marathon which takes place on Sunday 22nd and then the Glasgow half marathon which is on the 29th September.

I'm running these two races for one of best mates, Ben Todd. Ben, who was only 5 years old at the time was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL cancer). He went through chemo therapy and radiotheraphy however Ben was put into remission 3 times, but only to relapse which he then needed a bone marrow transplant to save his life.

Ben has said without his bone marrow transplant he wouldn't be here today so he thanks everyone that has helped him beat cancer and says a special big thank you to his family and friends for being there through his journey and especially his bone marrow donor who saved his life.

Please support me in running these races as it would mean a lot to me and especially Ben, who has went through a lot over these years! ..after all Ben is one of the nicest and down to earth boys you will ever met who beat cancer not just once but THREE times and is here to tell the tale today. See pictures of Ben before and after below.

Basically with no training, only just my football training and a game on a Sunday I'm determined more than ever to complete these two runs all because it's for a good cause.

Any donations are greatly appreciated.
