In memory of Jeremy O'sullivan
We help people with acquired brain injury to rebuild their lives

Story

My Brother Jeremy who was full of life and fun was taken from us far too early at the age of just 24 years old. I keep his photograph hanging on my wall and although more years have past than we had him with us I still think of him everyday and imagine what his life may have been.

Jeremey suffered a sub arachnoid haemorrhage, which effectively means an aneurysm ruptured causing a bleed on his brain. Jeremy was kept on life support for four days following the bleed but eventually despite the best efforts of the medical staff it was deemed that the effects were too great and he would never recover and so his life support machine was turned off on the 18th August 1987.

Last year marked the 30 year anniversary and unfortunately correlated with a close friend's wife suffering the same thing. Thankfully she survived and is making a full recovery, but the effects of it all upon their family brought back a lot of memories for me of what we went through losing Jeremy, and so have decided to cycle 54321 Cymru in his memory and raise funds for Headway Cardiff who provide support to brain injury survivors and their families (for full details on the services Headway Cardiff provide please see - http://www.headwaycardiff.org.uk/).

All funds raised through this page will be matched by Tiny Rebel brewing company and Whitehead Electrical.

I will be extremely grateful for any donations you are able to make to help support this great cause in my brother's memory.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

All the best,

Sean
