Skills for Development has been working in the North West region of Cameroon for the last four years to introduce new rice farming techniques to grass root farmers. In that time they have trained farmers in 4 villages, they have trained almost 20 farming groups and close to 100 farmers. The techniques that they have introduced has been having a demonstrable impact on yields and the farmers adoption of the techniques has been increasing over the years.

With the money raised from this event, SfD will be able to progress with the programme.
