Now I've finished studying I would like to focus on something a little closer to home, so I've managed to rope a few friends and family into taking part in the South Coast Mighty Hike 2021 with me! :)

As you may or may not already know, my wife and Emily's and Zoe's sister Shelley (Sheldon) was diagnosed with breast cancer at the end of 2014. Their sister Charlotte was also diagnosed a week later with breast cancer too. This was incredibly hard news to find out, not that long after we lost Shelley, Emily, Zoe's and Charlotte's mum, Teresa, to the same in 2012.

Fortunately Charlotte has been cancer free for a few years now, but unfortunately Shelley's cancer had progressed too far meaning she will never get that news.

Shelley is doing such an incredible job living with her incurable cancer, smashing out every day with a big smile on her face, and it's hard sometimes as her closest family not being able to do more to help so when I came across this event the 3 of us saw it as a great chance for us to get involved in a way we haven't done before and signed up for the challenge!
