Story
St Catherine's is a residential home (under the Father Hudson's umbrella) for adults living with complex needs and disabilities. Rachel (my lil sis) moved out of the home she shared with my mum into the bungalows of St Catherine's in August 2019.
Since before the official government lockdown began, the staff of St Catherine's have been absolutely brilliant in their care and support of Rachel and her fellow residents. They have gone above and beyond, giving so much to them, not just through the physical care but in looking after their emotional, social and mental well-being. They've kept spirits high and ensured that those in their care have continued to thrive in such difficult circumstances.
My Mum, Linda, would like to give something back to St Catherine's for the benefit of all of the residents being cared for by Helen and the team (not just Rachel). Mum, me and my two mini-mes Kayla and Lewys hope to walk 10 miles from my house in Babbacombe to Paignton Harbour and back in order to achieve our aim of raising some funds for my lil sis and her fellow residents.
So, dig deep and let's see what we can do!
