My daughter needs a lot of help for an operation to walk and help be a little independent so i am raising funds to help her. This operation selective dorsal rhizotomy opens the bone in the lower spine and detects the nerves that cause tightness and are then removed.  This procedure takes 4 to 5 hours with 4-6 week stay in hospital . This operation is not funded by the NHS.

 Sienna is 7 years old and after one year of raising funds ( just a little over £5k with charity Tree of hope )and still a long way of our target time is ticking and sienna needs to have the operation to walk unaided. We are fundrsising with the help of just4children now ( charity number 1164473). The operation SDR and therapies will improve her over all health as long term her condition can deteriorate. Sienna crawls around and uses her walker and she has had many bruising from this. She is non verbal and and needs 24 hour care . She needs help as she cannot dress herself, brush her teeth and do normal every day tasks herself.

As well as raising funds for surgery, equipment and therapies and anything that will improve her life and help Sienna get about more easily  , we hope that we in turn can help other children who need help just like Sienna . 

Your help means Sienna will have a better, happier life which will improve her well being and help her do things like run in the park with her brothers and play on the swings,  things she so desperately wants to do. She has had many challenges in her 7 years but she amazes us each day with her infectious smile and giggles. No matter how small your donation is , it will truly help Sienna .
