Number 22 are a local charity based across Maidenhead, Windsor and Slough. They offer free, at the point of use counselling to our local community. They believe that talking about what’s going on in our lives can really support emotional wellbeing. As I’m sure you can imagine Number 22 are very busy at the moment. 

Their clients are 11 years and up, including adults. Anyone can self-refer on to their waiting list and clients work with one of their volunteer counsellors. They have over 100 really dedicated volunteers who give their time...they’re an incredible bunch of people.

Number 22's young people’s work is very important to them. They work in over 20 local schools and in agency rooms (currently remotely) to support young people. Working with young people necessitates a further level of training so they raise funds to pay their volunteers a small amount for this.
