SUPPORT A FARMER

A project in collaboration with SIKH RELIEF.

Panjab and it's very lifeline is slowly being eradicated....

As far back as 1947 to today, Panjab has suffered the loss
of it's waters, it's identity and language, and now by crippling the earning
power of its farmers.

Panjab is in a crisis. There has been three Ordinances  in June introduced. These Ordinances will cripple the ability of many small farmers to continue to earn a livelihood and will affect farmers living in debt and those who are already struggling to feed their families will be forced into more debt.

This page has been set up to humbly request for initial
payments that will go to these farmers and their families included those that have sadly already committed suicide.

These farmers that feed nations are in desperate need and struggling to feed themselves due to the current restrictions and new laws the Government has passed.

The purpose of this page is :

1. Ask for donations so we can get urgent relief to farmers and provide them with the most basic necessities that they are being denied. Please donate whatever you can afford as an initial payment. We are hoping the initial payments can be used to buy the farmers seeds for food they can eat themselves and buy a cow. It costs approximately £600 for a cow but if we can get this to a farmer he will have enough milk for his family and can sell milk to locals for a little profit to help survive.

2. A one off payment sadly is not going to solve the issue and the state these farmers have been reduced to, so we are requesting that, where possible, a standing order of £25.00 per month, via our link below, be set up to adopt a farmer, which will support a Panjabi farmer enough to sustain a  living, in the hope that this helping hand and your support will provide them with the will to live and basic necessities.

This is just a start of what is desperately needed, but with
the help of these donations we are hoping to
roll out more projects, but for now please help
feed those that for generations have been feeding nations.
