Story

Dear all,

15 years ago, I met a lady called Sikujua. Very sad story. She had lost lot of weight and everyone thought she had AIDS. She was kicked out by friends and family and she thought she was dying.

However, few months later, her eyes popped out 'exopthalmos ', a diagnostic sign of simple condition called thyrotoxicosis. Patient loose weight as their main symptom. This is a very common and simple illness which is easily treated.

Sikujua was treated but unfortunately, she lost her eye sight as she developed corneal ulceration and damage.

TDCF has been helping her for a while. She never complains and leads a normal life. Runs a business and has a family.

Whenever I go to mwanza, I always make a point to meet her and deep down always thought about corneal transplant.

This is happening TOMORROW..... See photos....

Tdcf has raised money for one eye...

I want to raise money for second eye by doing a sprint triathlon... Still Learning how to swim..

Please sponsor me https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/sikujua?newPage=True

Or tdcf directly.

Will forward few photos from today.

Please pray operation tomorrow is a success.
Thanks
Salim
