Story
This is my son Fraser. Fraser is one of 1000s of children around the world who have Hemiplegia, a form of Cerebral Palsy.
The term Hemiplegia means that there is a paralysis or significant weakness on one vertical half of the body and subsequently causes a wide range of physical, cognitive, and behavioral effects.
Children like Fraser (and their families) have a huge challenge ahead of them in life. Luckily, this is made slightly easier by having such a great charity like HemiChat available to help.
HemiChat is a parent led UK Charity that raises Hemiplegia awareness whilst uniting and supporting families living with Hemiplegia, encouraging people around the globe to share their own experiences and offer support to one another when needed.
This year, I'm raising a little money for this fantastic charity and am taking part in 7x Tougher Mudders (a timed, competitive version of Tough Mudder) across the UK, starting in May and ending in September.
Tough Mudder is a 10mile (16km) obstacle course race, through mud, freezing waters and more. Check out this video to see how mad an event it is! https://youtu.be/t-CewIpRBaY
I'll be posting updates and photos of the events, throughout the season and would appreciate if you can help me with my fundraiser, and helping HemiChat continue to thrive and support the Hemi community!
Cheers, Silverio
