In the last year I’ve battled both a severe mental breakdown and a suspected heart attack (which thankfully turned out not to be). I would not have got through this without the support of my friends and family and the wonderful people at Growing Well where I am the Chair of the board of trustees.  We support people battling with all varieties of mental health problems with no NHS funding and are facing a budget shortfall so I have challenged myself to run the hardest road half marathon in the UK to show I’ve beaten all the problems and have come out the other side fighting fit (ish). Please give generously to this amazing cause.
