The Brompton Fountain is the children’s charity at Royal Brompton Hospital supporting its paediatric intensive care unit and children's ward. We provide vital resources and support services for patients and families as well as funding medical equipment, accommodation and upgrades to the facilities.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

So why am I cycling from Lands End to John O'Groats?

We are raising money for the Brompton Fountain, a charity that supports seriously ill children and their families under the care of the Royal Brompton Hospital. Our friend Steve's son Ben was just 4 weeks old when he fell critically ill with a heart condition; it was through the dedication, attention and expertise of staff at the Royal Brompton that Ben is able to live an ordinary life.

This is our way of thanking them for the support they gave Ben. A journey of a 1000 miles over 10 days lays ahead of us!

Hopefully through our efforts and your donations we will enable other families to be supported in the same way as Ben.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
