Hi!

Thanks very much for visiting my marathon page. I am running my first ever marathon at the London marathon this year on 13 April this year. I'm a little nervous because I have never run longer than a half marathon (21km) distance before (and then only twice!), so this will be much more challenging. However, this has always been a life goal of mine as i have gone to watch the marathon each year I have lived here, so I am absolutely super excited to be doing it this year! Please help me to make this a reality. I'll provide loads of updates of my progress and route to (hopefully) race fitness!

I am also very excited because I am able to help raise funds for Disability Law Service (DLS). DLS is an extremely worthy charity providing expert legal advice to disabled people across a whole variety of areas of need, from employment discrimination to unfairly reducing community care to helping those with multiple sclerosis with their specific legal needs. It is the ONLY legal advice service purely serving the disabled and has been providing a national service free of charge for over thirty years. This good work has been put in jeopardy by Government funding cuts and changes to Legal Aid, and so now it is more important than ever for it to obtain more financial support. Please donate knowing your money is going to a very needy cause.
