We provide services and support to inspire wellbeing for all

Story

One month ago we lost the most wonderful person, loving husband, father, brother, son, friend - Paul.

Paul suffered from a very severe mental illness since October and fought so hard to overcome this but this was bigger than him. He lost his fight on 12th February 2020 and as a result we are left heartbroken as we come to terms with this loss.

Paul was a huge supporter of positive mental health and well being. He helped to mentor so many young people in his role as teacher, trained in areas of positive mental health  and also helped many others to look after their mental health and well being. In fact, he ran the Spar Omagh Half marathon two years ago for AWARE.

During this illness I always told Paul something good must come out of this nightmare, he will go on to help someone / others who suffer like this. Paul’s good friend George entered him into Spar Omagh Half marathon and I would like to run his race and wear his number in his memory.

I will be joined by Paul’s sister Lisa, my sisters, my brother, family and our lovely friends. I have never ran further than 10Km but I will do my best to honour him and ensure money raised will indeed help others.

Our chosen charity is Inspire Well-being. Inspire is a charity and social enterprise, and their aim is wellbeing for all. They deliver mental health, learning/intellectual disability, autism, addiction and workplace wellbeing services across the island of Ireland.

Your support will be greatly appreciated at this time.
