Post Pandemic 

Neonatal intensive care is traumatic at the best of times, but the pandemic has been unimaginably difficult for families, many of who have been isolated from their support networks and have faced ‘visiting’ restrictions when caring for their babies in hospital. 

The lasting impact of the pandemic on the mental health needs of families and developmental outcomes of babies born prematurely aren’t yet clear, but one things for certain, The Smallest Things will be there every step of the way.
