Hi all. Myself and my daughter Nicole will be taking part in the Birmingham Half Marathon running 11 miles on the 18th October to support the charity TB alert. This is our first charity event in which we are taking part in, in memory of our mother and nan. Any contributions towards our charity will be highly appreciated. 

TB Alert's work focuses on:

• raising public and professional awareness about TB, addressing barriers to treatment, and providing support to patients during their treatment
• bringing together statutory health services, voluntary organisations and people affected by TB to plan and deliver better TB services
• developing policy and advocating for the resources to improve the care of patients and the prevention and control of TB.
