Fundraising for Alder Hey Children's Charity
Story
The Contact Group have chosen Alder Hey due to the support the hospital gives to over 270,000 young patients and their families every year. They urgently need to raise £30m to make Alder Hey a truly world-leading place which will help them to build the new part of the hospital.
4 employees of the Contact Group have agreed to take part in the London to Brighton Cycle Ride to raise money for this charity.
Alder Hey have been instrumental in the care of Cameron Hull who has had two open heart operations at the hospital and is making great progress on his road to recovery. Cameron and his family have relied on the ground breaking surgery that Alder Hey can offer but without donations the hospital would not be able to offer the services that help children make a full recovery from illnesses that need urgent care
