We fund specialist palliative care to support patients in our community

Story

This year has been a very tough year as we lost one of the most important people in our lives - My Dad.

Steve was diagnosed with cancer at the end of 2016 and sadly lost his battle in January 2018. Towards the end of his life, he spent a few months in the MacMillan Unit in Christchurch. This was an extremely hard time for us all but the staff at the MacMillan Unit were fantastic - so supportive and we would really like to give something back.

So in memory of my wonderful Dad, I will be shaving my hair (and donating it) to raise money for a fantastic cause that desperately needs your donations to continue to provide specialist care and support for anyone that needs it.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
