Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

As you probably know, Sophie and Les are getting married on 26th July 2014 - Hurrrahhhh!!!!.  We are bringing together two families and two houses full of stuff - we literally have two of everything!! So we decided that rather than get more cutlery and toasters we would ask our friends and family to donate to this wonderful charity.

Rather rashly, two weeks before the wedding (July 13th) we are also going to run the London 10k together, also for MSH - this will ensure that we are both fit and can get into our wedding frocks (yes, I am wearing a kilt!) So we thought we'd combine the JustGiving pages to maximise the donations!!

For those of you who don't know, we both lost our previous partners to cancer - Sophie's husband Andrew and Les's wife Jane. They were both cared for in their final days in this special place and we and our children were helped at a difficult time by their caring staff and volunteers. We would be very happy if you would like to remember Andrew and Jane, as we will, on our happy day, by donating to Michael Sobel House.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
