We support persecuted Christians to survive in places of extreme hostility

Story

Open doors work to provide aid and support to Christians who are persecuted for their beliefs. Their work stretches to over 50 countries where persecution takes place. Donating to my cause helps to provide the support that is needed and also shows those suffering that they are not alone.

I am blessed to be able to be so open about my faith and worship so freely. Many are not so privileged and having faith in Jesus comes at a cost. It breaks my heart to know that fellow Christians suffer so greatly for the God that we believe. North Korea are one of the worst countries impacted by persecution and it compels me to do what I can to help.

All money raised goes towards supporting the church in North Korea through providing emergency relief aid such as medicine, food and clothes, as well as training through radio broadcasting and distributing books and other Christian materials. It also helps to provide shelter, aid and training for North Korean Christians in China. Open Doors is currently feeding 60,000 people in North Korea so the need is great.

I would love it if you would join me in supporting these people who face such great suffering on a daily basis by considering sponsoring me as I take on this challenge.

God bless, Sophie

"Every day was as if God was pouring out all ten plagues on us simultaneously. That's how hard it was. But God also comforted me and brought a secret fellowship into existence. Every Sunday we would gather in the toilets and pray."
