After initially being turned down for a ballot place i was so happy when Newlife asked me to run the london marathon for them!

Newlife is a brilliant charity that does amazing things for disabled and terminally ill children aswell as their families. We now have more disabled children in the UK than we ever have before and i'm so proud that i am able to do something to help improve those childrens lives.

This is going to be a real personal challenge for me and i believe that by running for this charity i am continuing my aim to give all children the best care and opportunities that are available to them.

£100 provides sensory equipment for a child with autism or a visual impairment

£500 funds a specialist car seat for a disabled child to keep them safe and mobile

£1000 funds a lightwieght folding wheelchair for a child with mobilty needs

£1500 funds a specialist buggy for a younger child unable to walk due to muscle problems

£2000 can fund a powered wheelchair for a disabled child

£5000 funds a communication add for child
