Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Losing a loved one at this time is even more difficult due to the isolation from friends and especially family not being able to give the support and love you need.
A little ray of light for those who have given birth to sleeping angels is the support and memory boxes from Friends of Serenity.
Sadly we have experienced these wonderful boxes back in June 2019 when our baby Wallace was born sleeping and again in April this year when we lost another angel to miscarriage. This year was so difficult as we were alone without any support from our wonderful friends and family due to Coronavirus but knowing Friends of Serenity were there and being able to speak to others in similar situations at least gave some comfort.
Whilst this is not my craziest challenge, it keeps me focused and sane and with lock down and life it is still a challenge to keep getting the running shoes on or getting out on the bike.
The challenge is to run 25k (15.5 miles) and cycle 100k (62 miles) in the month of May. My plan is to do double that, so 30k running and 200k cycle.
Obviously this challenge will obey the current rules and I will be out on my own and give any other people out for their exercise the minimum of 2 meters distance.
I know things are tough for many and lots of causes are asking for support at this difficult time, but any support you can give will mean so much to Emma and I and those who Friends of Serenity support and will sadly continue to support.
Thank you. x
