I've been growing my hair for almost 2 years now but on the 12th May I will be getting it all shaved off - who knows what's under there?!

I chose to raise money for Sightsavers for a couple of reasons. Firstly, the cause is something close to my heart; although not blind by any stretch, without corrective surgery for my short sight I'd be unable to drive or even recognise people standing a few meters away. If I'd been born in a different part of the world I'd have really struggled with everyday life due to my poor vision.

Secondly, I'm really keen on giving effectively - basically getting as much 'bang for your buck' when donating to charities. Sightsavers score highly in this regard as 91% or all money donated goes straight to helping people with sight issues and much of the treatments are very cost effective.

Any and all donations are massively appreciated and will be going to an extremely worthwhile cause.
