Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

I don't run. I've always not run because it hurts, I can't breathe and turn beetroot colour after 5 minutes. 

I was reminded of why I don't run and have always stuck to this mantra after three weeks of training: I developed a chest infection. This is not a coincidence - I'm never ill.  

But it's too late! I'm signed up! Bullied / motivated into it by a friend.  

I'm hoping I can do something good out of it as a bonus! I've selected Mind to support. Having volunteered with the team I know what a difficult and challenging job they have on their hands and how important they are to supporting mental health and working closely with the NHS. The volunteering in turn helped my mind on a personal level too. 

West Norfolk Mind are an independent local charity. They promote positive mental health and social inclusion within the community and provide a variety of resources for people with a mental health issue, their families and friends.

Mind aims to support people to build a meaningful life for themselves and inspire hope for recovery, with or without the continuing presence of mental health problems.

Any donation will be appreciated and will help me through. My aims are: 1. to survive something that, for me, is very difficult to do. 2. to finish and 3. to not stop and walk. The result being a shade of something even darker than beetroot!

I could swim all day! They don't have events for that...
