​The rainforest is disappearing right before our very eyes, with less than half its original forest cover remaining.  Studies suggest that more than 2.5 million acres are being lost every single year, and in 2015 alone widespread fires destroyed more than 5 million acres of forest.   

As the rainforest continues to be destroyed at such an alarming rate, Critically Endangered orangutans are forced out of their forest homes and left with nowhere to go. Many starve to death or are killed when they stray into villages or onto farmland in search of food.

It is vitally important that we protect areas of forest that are still left standing. The shocking reality is that, if we do not protect the forest adjacent to our center, it will be lost  

The money donated will go to the IAR charity allowing them to protect precious forest and ensure all animals have a better future.
