Myself and my lovely friend Emma will be completing the Cardiff Half Marathon on October 1st to raise funds for the Giving to Pink charity;

"Giving to Pink charity was established in September 2014 to raise awareness and help fund a Specialist Breast Care Unit in south east Wales.  Following publicity/pressure from the charity during the past three years, Cwm Taf University Health Board confirmed earlier this year that an integrated breast care service will be established at the Royal Glamorgan, Llantrisant.  Giving to Pink will contribute funds to this unit, which will considerably help patients during treatment."

A friend of ours, Bethan Jones, recently had a breast cancer diagnosis and is currently undergoing intensive treatment at Velindre Cancer Hospital. The dedicated staff at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital are also supporting her every step of the way, ensuring that she has access to everything she needs to get through this difficult period.
