Fundraising for Young Lives vs Cancer
Story
So I was diagnosed with stage 4a Hodgkin's lymphoma December 2014. It's a blood cancer of the lymphatic system and to be honest, thought I would never see 2016.
At this time, My work decided that our charity of the year was going to be CLIC Sargent who help young people with cancer ( I know, coincidence right? )
After CLIC Sargent began supporting my family and I through what should have been a traumatic experience, #teambecky @thevillageinn set its target to 10,000 which WE SMASHED. Raising a phenomenal 14,000!
I have been invited to trek the Great Wall of China with CLIC Sargent at the end of this year. To do this, I have to raise an additional 3,000 as half goes towards my flights etc and half to the charity :)
This is 27 hours of walking which I hope to be sponsored for. So please find it in your heavy hearts to donate and fulfil my bucket list!!
