Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Last year me and 13 other cyclist from the Knowsley velo UK cycling club thought it would be a good idea if we completed the LEJOG challenge!
We have a mixed level of ability and the ages range from 25 to 61 although we all aim to work together to complete the challenge as one!
We will be completing this over 9 days which means cycling 100 miles plus each day to ensure we get to our desired destination each night.
We have been training hard to prepare ourselves for such a difficult challenge which has meant lots of sacrifices and time out on the road covering many miles in all weathers.
Completing this challenge, cycling across Britain and raising funds for a charity that provides fantastic care for those unfortunate to have to go into the hospice is enough to make me want to do this and ensure I dig in when the going gets tough.
We are also supporting the WICH charity who are looking to relocate the old chapel from whiston hospital and rebuild it on the grounds of Foxbank lane cemetery.
In addition to this we are also supporting the Knowsley adult learning centre who are based at Knowsley leisure and culture park.
Please support us with your kindness and generousity and help us achieve our collective goal of raising approx £10000.
I thank you in advance for taking the time to read this story.
