I have worked with the more fortunate end of the housing market for 25 years and have been aware for many years of the problems so many people have in securing a suitable place to live in one of Surrey's most picturesque and perfect looking towns. In 2016 I raised over £1,220 for 'Transform Housing and Support' running a 20 mile & 200 obstacle Ratrace and in 2019 I raised over £2,500 for the national homeless charity 'Shelter' running the Paris marathon.

As time goes by, the issues seem to be getting worse with the effects of the pandemic, rising costs and many other issues. The article below from the Herald informs us that 150 more families became homeless in Waverley Borough Council as a result of the pandemic and I believe its important to keep fundraising for the charities on the front line who fight this problem.

Most people are not even aware there is a problem in areas like Farnham and the borough of Waverley, and that is thanks to the hard work of charities like Transform Housing and Support'. It is absolutely clear that if it were not for Charities like Transform, there would be many more homeless people suffering on our streets.
