James Kimpton started the work of the Charity in the 70s and has lived amongst the children he has helped until his death in October last year. The work carried out by so many to help so many orphaned and abandoned children in Southern India (in the state of Tamil Nadu) and amongst the poor of the surrounding communities is amazing. Check out their website. 

Even £1 sterling can do so much in this part of the world.  We want to help so the work that Jim started can continue. Jim was a real inspiration and I would hate to see all that work fizzle out now Jim has died. There is a very good team on the ground, headed up by Fr Anthony (A Franciscan) who was taken in by Jim when he was a young lad himself. A wonderful, gentle man (very much in Jim's mould).
