Story
Last year I took on the worlds biggest assault course, and this year I am back for more!! . I will be doing many different races through out the year and will post up photos onto my page to let you know what I am up to. A few that I already have signed up for are:
15th March Vitality North London half marathon
19th April Warrior Run 21km obstacle race
9th May Rat Race 20 miles 200 obstacles
17th June Canary Wharf British Heart Foundation 10km
Keep an eye out for more I will be doing. These events are a personal challenge that I am choosing to do and all entry fees etc I am funding.
However events like these are great way to raise money for charity with you guys supporting me for the challenges I plan to undertake. There are so many wonderful charities out there making a huge difference for people some closer to home than others.
I have come across this one Dreams Come True and after flicking through their website and reading the blogs it was instantly something I wanted to help with.
Dreams Come True help children and young people who have serious or life -limiting medical condition. They help to provide an unforgettable experience fulfilling children's dreams with long lasting memories to share with families, loved ones and friends.
The thing that touched me most was reading what some of these dreams were the children had things like riding a bike with their family, visiting peppa pig world, going to Alton Towers. These sort of things I'm sure many of us easily take for granted that we are able to just go and do.
So please take a look at their website read their dreams and any spare change you have please donate to this charity so they keep making children's dreams come true.
Thank you xxx
