Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
After a short illness, lasting just 3 months, Suzanne was diagnosed with Cancer and passed away peacefully on 4th September 2018. Suzanne's last wish was to be cared for in Wakefield Hospice and the staff there provided expert and loving care for her in her last days.
At Suzanne's request we are asking for no flowers. Many of her friends and family though have asked if they could send flowers so, if Suzanne has touched your life in any way, could I urge you to please make a donation, however large or small, to the work of Wakefield Hospice. It only exists because of charitable giving and without it being available, Suzanne's final days - and for many others, wouldn't have been in such a peaceful and loving environment being cared for by staff who demonstrate incredible skill and compassion.
The Hospice told me it costs £25 an hour to care for someone; Suzanne was there for 15 days so I'm sure you can do you the math.
