Having been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in 2016, I decided at the beginning of lockdown in 2020 to change my lifestyle and do something about it. I started off with couch to 5k and by July 2020 was given the all clear by my doctor to stop my medication and control just with diet and exercise. I decided to run the marathon for Kangaroos as it's such a fantastic cause for people of all ages with learning disabilities. Thanks for sponsoring me - you'll be helping lots of young people
