I am going to be attempting an intense physical challenge over January (coldest month of the year), and hopefully raise some money for a great cause in the process.

The challenge

I will be running 1 mile on the 1st January, 2 miles on 2nd January, 3 miles on 3rd January, all the way up to 31 miles on the 31st January. I will be tracking my runs using strava  (Steve Waters) and posting daily updates on my instagram account stevewaters_

Total distance covered will be 496 miles, including a daunting 196 miles in the final week alone! The distance will be split across multiple runs as we go deeper into the month I am sure! 

Why Llamau

I think over his last year with the pandemic everyone’s felt the pain of being isolated and having no where to turn. Llamau do great work to help those who are homeless.

Llamau, believe that no young person or woman should ever have to experience homelessness. But for thousands of the most vulnerable people in Wales, homelessness is a frightening reality. 

Over the past 30 years Llamau have supported over 67,000 young people, women and their families to leave homelessness behind. But with increasing pressure on their services and continued funding cuts across Wales, they need support to raise vital funds.

Please give whatever you can, every donation will be greatly appreciated. And put to great use in these difficult times.
