Story

When I first set out to do this challenge it was to inspire the delegates of the Reach Your Peak Scotland Event I founded back in 2017, and I thought that showing my clients that you can find the time to train, run a business and still work on all other areas of your life at the same time was important for their preparation of the event.

At first it was supposed to be climbing Conic Hill for 68 days back to back, however, that number just didn't cut it for me. I liked the idea of climbing the Conic Hill in 100 consecutive days, but then it occurred to me, that is still simply not good enough.“Think bigger Stevie” I said..

Why not just climb Conic Hill every single day until 2020 comes to a close. So this is what I have set out to do, and at the same time raise funds for Finding Your Feet and their troopers, a charity that is close to me and a charity that has helped me get through some of the toughest endurance events on the planet.

I feel not only inspired by the incredible work carried out by the charity in supporting amputees to find their purpose and joy in life again, but also our mutual determination to push our own limits and drive ourselves to achieve more than we even thought possible.

For me, it takes a total of 4 hours round trip to travel to Balmaha, climb Conic Hill and then travel back home, all while still leading both enterprises alongside my son Ryan Kidd who is also Managing Partner.
