Stonewall’s 10th annual Brighton Equality Walk takes place on Sunday 5th May. Hundreds of Stonewall supporters will be walking the streets of Brighton with this year’s host Zoe Lyons, one of the UK’s favourite comedians, to stamp out homophobia in schools. 

Though Stonewall’s made great strides for equality over the past ten years more than half of gay young people still face homophobic bullying at school. This has to stop.

Also supporting the Walk in this very special year are X Factor favourites Lucy Spraggan and Rylan Clark. Talking about getting involved Rylan told us “We’ve had first hand experience of homophobia and know just how hurtful it can be. If it’s not challenged and dealt with it can spiral out of control, so we hope everyone will get involved and sign up for the walk. It can really make a difference.”
