We care for nature, beauty, history to benefit the whole nation.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 13 April 2022 I will be setting off on foot from Lands End on an epic 1250 mile trek to John O Groats. Avoiding roads, my route will take in Britain’s finest countryside and some of its remaining wild and woody places.

We can do our bit to tackle the climate crisis and protect this precious landscape by helping to plant millions of new trees in it.

If you can sponsor me £5 that will pay for a whole sapling using  the National Trust’s Plant a Tree programme for 20 million new  trees by 2030. If you can sponsor me £25 that will buy a small thicket.

If I can get a £5 donation for each and  every mile walked, the NT will plant 1250 trees: a veritable copse of carbon sinking greenery.

So please donate £5 (or multiples thereof) and let’s help save a tiny bit of the world.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
