Just over  year ago I got diagnosed with Cancer, For a time my world fell apart, I was so scared I was going to die and never see my family or friends again,  Anyway after 3 months of Chemo, a few ops,  a tough 12 months and a lot of help from my family and friends it looks like I'm winning my fight with Cancer, 

Just before I got diagnosed I could run 10k easy enough,  but due to a combination of the Chemo and medication I was on it has affected my lungs slightly and I put on 3.5 stone, I'm now out running again but finding it hard!! To date (4/12/16) I'm up to 3k but I'm determined to run this 10k in May :-)

I hit bit of a low a few months ago and was told about CancerWise, A local charity that offers help and support to anyone affected by this awful disease, I've been going along to CancerWise for a couple of months now and its been a great help for me and has helped me learn to deal with Cancer. 

Please give what you can, even £1 helps towards the tea and coffee :-)

I'm not out of the woods yet but I'm on the right path :-)
