This will be the first time I've run 10k since 1993. It's been a long time! It was a challenge suggested by a friend and, once I'd signed up to the Great Manchester Run, I started to think about fundraising.

I've chosen Rossendale Hospice because people dear to me have been cared for and supported brilliantly by hospices in the past. This hospice serves the community where I live and is a great resource for local people. As a Registered Charity it relies on financial contributions from a variety of sources. I want to help with my donation as we never know what the future will bring.
