Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In July 2006 one moment in time changed life as he knew it for my son Chris when a freak accident left him paralysed from the chest down (tetraplegic).

To mark and celebrate the 10th anniversary of what Chris has achieved with courage and remarkable tenacity I intend to challenge myself and raise funds on behalf of the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital where Chris's journey began.

So, with the guidance and support of David I am going to attempt Sue's Scenic Scramble in the Lake District in the first week of June. This will involve 20 miles of walking and include climbing a mountain or two. Mountain ascent is a first for me and will be my own personal challenge to say thank you to all of the staff who help so many families touched by life-changing conditions.
