On 19th January 2014 my beautiful and inspirational niece lost her very short battle with meningitis. She was only 16 and taken far too soon. Our lives are never going to be the same but if we can stop other people having to go through the pain we are, by raising money for research and raising the profile for meningitis awareness, then some good will come out of our devastating loss.
