Moray Rape Crisis supports anyone from age 11, of any gender, who have experienced any kind of sexual violence at any time in their lives.

There have currently been 138 referrals since opening in September 2018 and there is a waiting list of around 6 months.

Moray Rape Crisis is the official charity for Moray Business Women. This swim is being organised by two members to contribute towards the group's fundraising goal.

Last year, on IWD, the 8th March, a group of wild swimmers in Edinburgh gathered at sunrise on International Women's Day to plunge into the sea off Portobello beach (photo above, copyright Anna Deacon).

This year, they've extended the invite to groups across Scotland to join in and create their own IWD Swimrise, in aid of a local charity supporting women.
