Story
Hola friends and family,
On September the 22nd I am walking up Ben Nevis
at night. Ben Nevis is the highest mountain in the UK, with the peak standing at 1345 metres above sea level!
I’ve lived in Edinburgh for almost 2 years now, and having only
ventured further north than here to visit Iona’s pug, I figured it was just
about time that I stepped (a lot of steps) out of my little Edinburgh bubble and comfort zone to take on Scotland in one of the best ways possible, walking up a landmark for charity.
Over the past year I have become really passionate about conservation and working out how I can be more conscious of my personal impact on the environment. For this walk I hoping to fundraise £250 for The Nevis Partnership - this will go towards conserving, maintaining and protecting this gorgeous Scottish landmark. Any money raised above £250 will be going to Age UK, another really important charity.
From 1p to £100,000*; whether a £3 donation means you’ll have to skip your next hoisin duck wrap and naked smoothie, or a £4.20 donation means you have to swap from an Innis & Gunns to a Tennents for a few pints, anything will be greatly appreciated!!!
*please don’t actually donate £100,000 as grateful as I would be…
