Story

Update...

Rick and his friend Ste are cycling coast to coast to hopefully build on the funds we have already raised for Baby Beat. They are cycling from Morecambe to Bridlington. A distance of approximately 170 miles on the 19th and 20th September 2016.

Why Baby Beat?

On the 26th May 2014 at 19:15 our worst nightmare became a reality. Sadly our beautiful baby girl Sydney Eve Preston was stillborn. Words cannot describe how hard life has been since that fateful day. Katy is lucky to be alive having lost 4 pints of blood. We cannot thank Royal Preston Hospital enough for their support and mostly saving Katy's life. Sadly Sydney could not be saved. The Baby Beat Appeal have been great, not only for us but for many other people and the least we can do is support this wonderful charity.  They provided the lovely family room at Royal Preston as well as much of the other neonatal equipment in the maternity unit. They also provided the cold cot which allowed us to spend some time with Sydney, which is time we will never forget. Without Baby Beat this would not have been possible. Baby Beat also funded the councillors who have been amazing in supporting us in the time since Sydney passed away. Any amount of money you can spare for Baby Beat will be very well received and can help them to help more people like us.

Not a day passes that we do not think of our beautiful daughter. In the 36 weeks you were with us you made memories that will last a lifetime. We will look at your pictures every day. Rest in peace our beautiful angel. You are forever in our thoughts and hearts. Sweet dreams Sydney Eve Preston.

All our love,

Mummy and Daddy xxxxx
