I work as a Therapy Support Worker on Ward 10 and have dipped into previous charity money given to purchase a CD player so we could have music whilst patients exercised or for relaxation therapy.  NHS Funding is limited and we rely on donations for those little extras that make a big difference to the lives of our respiratory patients.  We desperately need more fans and equipment to assist with their independence whilst they are with us. Every little bit helps make our ward a nicer place to be, in not very nice circumstances for patients or their families.
