Story

The Dorset Walk started 10 years ago following the death of Malcolm, Damien's dad. Since 2008 The Malcolm Whales Foundation has managed to raise over £140,000 for young people affected by cancer.

This year as its our tenth year, we have decided to involve ourselves in a number of challenges:

(i) Our 10 year walk (4th August) - 25 miles in one day along the coastal path! Two days of the normal walk on one day.

(ii) The normal 3 day walk (13th-15th July)- 40 miles along the South West Coastal Path.

(iii) The 1000 mile walking ('boots on) challenge in 2018.

(iv) St Ives Golf Day (27th July)

(v) Pidley Fund Day (27th August)

We are going all out this year to raise as much as possible for children's cancer, bowel cancer and other worthwhile causes. Please see the www.malcolmwhales.co.uk, the facebook page or Twitter to see the difference we are making!) Pidley Fun Day (27th Aug)

From our team of Trustees/Patrons/volunteers:

Damien Whales, Stuart Patman, Andy Emery, Jack Emery, Rob Balchin, Courtney Pettifor, James German, Harry German, Jon Hutton, Jason Coe, Chris Mathews, Jack Edge, Neil Welsh and Ben Gibbs will be tackling some or all of the events listed above.

We don't normally ask for sponsorship, but as its a decade of events we felt maybe we try again this year! If you are able to support any us and the Foundation it would be hugely appreciated.

Thank you in advance

Team TMWF
